Dave Rubin on Leaving LA: ‘Got Audited After Newsom Recall Efforts… Put My House for Sale That Day’

Dave Rubin is leaving LA, frustrated by California’s politics, Covid lockdowns, and a skeptical state audit following his recall efforts against Newsom.

“… the last straw was quite literally, I was audited by the State of California three days after the recall… Larry Elder, who was also at dinner with us last night, I opened for him a couple times when he was campaigning against Newsom, and I was very public about why Newsom was terrible and lockdowns and all that stuff.”

… the recall obviously did not go the way we wanted. If I’m not mistaken, the recall was on September 11, 2021, and on September 14, I was audited by the state, and they wanted three years of my personal Amazon purchases.”
