Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) launched into an unhinged tirade at Robert F. Kennedy Jr. regarding baby clothes that celebrate not taking vaccines.

During Kennedy’s confirmation hearing for HHS Secretary on Wednesday, the Vermont senator pointed out that the website of Kennedy’s group Children’s Health Defense (CHD) advertised baby clothing that said “Unvaxxed Unafraid” and “No Vax, No Problem.”

“Can you tell us now, now that you’re ‘pro-vaccine,’ that you’re gonna have your organization take these products off the market?” Sanders asked.

Kennedy pointed out that he has “no power” at CHD since he resigned from the board several months ago.

“Are you supportive of this?!” Sanders shouted. “ARE YOU SUPPORTIVE OF THESE ONESIES?!”

Kennedy clarified, “I am supportive of vaccines-“

“ARE YOU SUPPORTIVE OF THIS CLOTHING THAT’S MILITANTLY ANTI-VACCINE?!”

Kennedy continued, “I am supportive of vaccines, and I want good science.”

Kennedy has repeatedly crystallized his stance on vaccines in recent months, noting that he views vaccines generally positively, but is critical of the lack of oversight in the vaccine and pharmaceutical industry.

“News reports have claimed I’m anti-vaccine or anti-industry. I am neither,” Kennedy said during the hearing. “I am pro-safety. I believe that vaccines play a critical role in healthcare. All of my kids are vaccinated. Nor am I the enemy of food producers.”

CHD trolled Sanders on X thanking him for the “plug” and promoted more baby onesies with slogans like “Pharma is Not My Mama” and “Pharma Free.”

“Thanks for the plug Bernie Sanders! We know it doesn’t compete with what Big Pharma gifts you, but let us know if you want some CHD merch,” the organization wrote.

Sanders also pressed Kennedy to answer whether healthcare was a “human right.”

Kennedy attempted to dissect the nuances of positive rights like healthcare versus negative rights like free speech, but Sanders repeatedly interrupted him.

“It’s different, because free speech costs nothing. In health care – if you smoke cigs for 20 years, and you get cancer – you are now taking from the pool [of resources]…” Kennedy began.

“We’ve got a few minutes left here,” Sanders cut in.
