“Holy Smokes! Literally Nothing?” CNN’s Jake Tapper Stunned Kamala Didn’t Outperform Biden in a Single State

CNN’s Jake Tapper was gobsmacked Wednesday after election results showed Kamala Harris was unable to overcome Joe Biden’s 2020 figures in a single state in America.

Monitoring an electoral map with correspondent John King, Tapper asked if Harris had outperformed Biden anywhere.

“You asked are there any places that the vice president is overperforming Joe Biden in 2020, so we can show you that as well. We just bring that out here. Harris overperforming 2020,” King said, as he pulled up a blank map of the United States with no sections highlighted.

“Holy smokes!” Tapper exclaimed, taken aback. “Literally nothing?”

“Literally nothing,” King responded.

“Literally not one county?” Tapper inquired, prompting King to display a more in-depth map showing how Harris only outperformed Biden in 58 counties.

“So in counties, in 58 counties,” King told Tapper. “We just showed Donald Trump was over a thousand counties of the 4,600 counties and townships across America.”

“There might be more out here on the West Coast, possibly one or two more as they finish the count here, but in the states that matter – again, I just showed you all those Trump counties – in one county in battleground Pennsylvania, she’s outperforming President Biden by 3% or more.”

Tapper’s stunned reaction illustrates the disconnect between the Democrat-aligned media and the concerns of U.S. citizens dissatisfied with the Biden administration and its failed policies, including on the economy, border security, foreign policy and more.
