Former Congresswoman and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard reveals she’s been placed on a TSA watchlist, sparking concerns about government overreach and infringement on civil liberties.
“To now be in a place where my own government, under this administration… is now using the TSA, using air marshals, using TSA canine teams, using both plain clothes and uniformed agents to surveil me in my movements, because they deem me as a risk and a potential domestic terrorist… this is hurtful… that doesn’t even begin to describe how this makes me feel.”
Gabbard warns that such surveillance tactics create a chilling effect on free speech and could deter citizens from criticizing the government, undermining the core principles of American democracy.
