WaPo Host Dies Inside as Columnist QUITS on Air

This is going mega-viral.

Hugh Hewitt, a contributing columnist to the Washington Post, quit on air and stormed off the broadcast in an unforgettable moment on Friday.

This is the most unfair election ad I have ever been a part of… I’m done,” he announced before ripping off his earpiece and leaving.

The confrontation on Friday erupted over a lawsuit from the Trump campaign in Pennsylvania, where a judge approved an extension for in-person voting in Bucks County after personnel “violated the law and told people to go home.”

Jonathan Capehart snarkily told Hewitt, “You come here saying lots of things that aren’t based on fact,” which ended up being the last straw for the conservative pundit.

Things took a turn for the worse when WaPo associate editor Ruth Marcus completely froze, leaving Jonathan Capehart in an awkward situation by himself.

After a desperate attempt to keep the stream afloat, Capehart realized that Ruth Marcus wasn’t coming back before issuing this statement to Washington Post viewers:

“If you’ve been watching First Look, you know that these conversations can be interesting— contentious. You just saw Hugh Hewitt leave the conversation, which is lamentable—unfortunate. It is what it is.”
