‘Wear Your Masks’: Trump’s Appointee for New Surgeon General in July 2021
Trump’s Surgeon General appointee emphasizes mask-wearing and vaccination amid the delta variant threat in 2021.
Here’s Trump’s appointee for new Surgeon General, Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, in July 2021:
“… wear your mask, because this is something that we can all combat and defeat together. We did it before, but then this delta variant came around. But the fact that we have less than 50% of Americans vaccinated, and maybe about a third of Americans who have natural immunity.
It’s still not enough, so we need to keep encouraging and educating on getting your vaccine in the importance of it, how it can protect you and your loved ones and your community.”
