Shame on Nikki Haley: Courting Democrats Shows Her True Colors

Nikki’s delusional if she thinks she can sustain her campaign with this ‘inspiring’ rallying cry.

We are now 5 days from the New Hampshire primary and hope springs eternal inside the Nikki Haley presidential campaign that she and her donors and her media allies can coax enough Democrats to come out and do same-day voter registration as Republicans in order to vote not so much for HER, but instead AGAINST Donald J. Trump.

After all, it was reported that this kind of same-day registration by Democrats to vote in the Iowa caucus on Monday helped flip exactly one of the state’s ninety-nine counties from Trump to Haley by one, single, solitary vote

It should be noted that Johnson County, the single county Trump didn’t win, is where the University of Iowa is located.

Johnson County officials reportedly told the press they had about 50 change-of-registration forms on hand that night for the caucus, and so many people showed to register as Republicans to vote for Haley that they quickly ran through the available forms and so county personnel had to quickly access copiers and printers and make more of the forms to meet the demand. And the next result of all of that activity is that Haley won the county by one vote.

This is just about the saddest, most pathetic spectacle you will ever see in American politics: When a candidate just flat out admits they can’t win anything without help from partisans from the opposing political party giving them a boost.

The pathetic candidate isn’t even doing anything to win real support from the Democrats-pretending-to-be-Republicans-for-a-day. No, its all about encouraging them to play a key role in the stopping of the Bad Orange Man.

Nikki’s delusional if she thinks she can long sustain her failing quixotic campaign with the ‘inspiring’ rallying cry, “If you are a Democrat who REALLY HATES DONALD TRUMP, please come out, register as a Republican, and then vote for me!”

Nikki began running in February of last year.  Its been 11 full months and becoming increasingly clear that’s she failed to make the sale to the voting base.

After months of hype and expectations and millions of dollars spent on ads, Haley ended up in third place in Iowa behind the President and DeSantis. While Haley only lost out to the current Florida governor by a mere 2 points, she lost to Trump by a whopping 32 points.

That humiliating showing in Iowa didn’t cow Haley at all however, as she quickly insisted this is now a ‘two-person race’ and claimed she’s ignoring DeSantis completely and is focusing all her attention on Trump.

ABC News even cancelled a scheduled GOP debate in New Hampshire when Haley insisted she would not be participating if Trump wasn’t there.

Let’s see what confident smack talk Haley makes after Trump trounces her by double-digits in New Hampshire next Tuesday night, where she and her camp have been boasting she only trails Trump by a mere seven points.

10 states have their caucuses/primaries prior to Super Tuesday on March 5; Iowa is already passed and New Hampshire is on deck.

The great thing about the primary season finally being underway is that a lot of the illusions that have been peddled over the past few months are going to fade away in the light of reality.
