NeoCon Nikki Admits The Awful Truth…

She’s About To Get Her Warmongering Butt Kicked By Donald Trump In Her “Sweet” Home State of South Carolina

After spending most of the past week after her double-digit loss to President Donald J. Trump by crowing that she was ‘gaining’ on him and talking about how she was looking forward to going back to her ‘sweet’ home state of South Carolina, all of a sudden GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley suddenly changed her tune on NBC’s ‘Meet The Press’ this Sunday morning.

First, here’s Haley right after her 11 point loss to Trump in last Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary:

First of all, it was exceedingly weird for Haley to be pretending that Donald Trump is any part of the ‘political establishment’ that she is supposedly preventing from ‘coronat[ing]’ Donald Trump, when the American public has been getting an eyeful for the past year of the unhinged and unconstitutional lengths the establishment has been going to in order to destroy him and end his bid for a 2nd White House term.

If its not the political establishment that

  • spied on Trump,
  • undermined him with the Trump/Russia Collusion hoax,
  • impeached him twice on false pretenses,
  • engineered a fake riot on J6 to create an ‘insurrection’ narrative,
  • raided his home to seize back supposedly still ‘classified’ documents he wasn’t allowed to legally possess,
  • sicced a new Special Counsel on him to take him to two trials in Washington DC and Palm Beach, Florida,
  • on top of a whole host of fake charges in civil/criminal cases in New York and Georgia…

then exactly WHO IS IT that’s been so enthusiastically trying to scalp the Orange Man Bad during all this absurd theater we’ve been forced to watch over the last 7 years?

Secondly, Haley went on to boast that she was now looking forward to continuing to carry the fight to Trump in her ‘sweet’ home state of South Carolina.

Not to be too hard on Haley, whom I have affectionately nicknamed “NeoCon Nikki”, but I don’t think there’s gonna be that much of a fight at all when it comes to who wins the primary in South Carolina. Trump’s lead was so massive in that state that most top pollsters appear to have stopped investing any resources in polling there since early January.

Now, since that last poll was done by Emerson on 1/2 – 1/3, it should be noted that DeSantis [11 pts], Ramaswamy [3.3 pts] and Christie [3.5 pts] all dropped out of the race. That would mean a total of around 18 pts is now up for grabs in the state.

But since Trump was already polling over 50% in most of the polls, even assuming all 18 points went to Haley [doubtful since Trump would likely be the 2nd choice of some DeSantis/Ramaswamy supporters], adding all 18 pts to Haley’s 21 points still wouldn’t get her into a competitive race with Trump. She would still trail Trump 52% to 39%, a gap of 13 points.

A more recent poll than that shown on RCP has Trump currently leading Haley by a whopping 27 points. This new poll has Trump vs Haley head to head, and was taken since the other candidates bailed on the race. It found 11% of the respondents still undecided. Even assuming all 11% jumped to Haley, she would still trail Trump by double digits, 58% to 42%, a gap of 16 points.

Realizing she can’t exactly hide the fact she’s going to lose her ‘sweet’ South Carolina to Trump by another double-digit loss, Haley suddenly shifted gears during Sunday morning’s interview on Meet The Press, as the host reiterated how far she trails Trump in the polling, with 4 weeks to go until the primary is held on February 24.

Haley sniffed that she doesn’t ‘need’ to win South Carolina, that even should she lose her ‘sweet’ South Carolina, she’ll stay in the race and soldier on to Super Tuesday.

According to Rich Baris, people around Haley have become convinced that with the help of a massive influx of Democrat voters crossing over to influence/distort/skew the GOP primary results in blue states on Super Tuesday, she will be able to flip several states and win them – or at the very least be competitive with Trump and only lose by a few points.

It will continue to become increasingly clear that the current primary/caucus systems set up by the GOP establishment in many of our states are going to have to be seriously reformed to prevent this blatant interference by allowing large numbers of Democrats to cross over and ‘help’ the GOP base pick its candidates for the general election. Democrats and non-Republican party members should have ZERO influence in ‘helping’ to determine who goes on the ballot in November. That this isn’t already the case is absolutely stunning.

This primary season, the longer it drags on, will continue to become increasingly like something out of a Kafka novel, as we watch the spectacle of a lone NeoCon War Hawk vainly trying to stop the inevitable ascension of a populist presidential candidate by openly appealing to Democrats to come over and help her stop Trump.
